Sensex closes 100 points up, Nifty settles above 10,200
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty were trading up on Tuesday due to positive market conditions.
Also, good earnings for the July-September quarter made investors expect better corporate earnings results for the last quarter as well.
The BSE Sensex closed 100.62 points up at 32,607.34 while the NSE Nifty closed 22.85 points up at 10,207.70.
The top three Sensex gainers were Asian Paint (+4.10%), SBI India (+3.56%) and NTPC (+2.92%).
The top three Sensex losers were Tata Motors (-1.54%), Infosys (-1.37%) and Sun Pharma (-1.07%).
The top three Nifty gainers were Zeel (+6.65%), Asian Paint (+4.67%) and SBI India (+3.64%).
The top three Nifty losers were HCL Tech (-2.60%), Yes Bank (-2.11%) and IndusInd Bank (-1.85%).
