M-Aadhaar can be used to enter airport
The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security of India has released a list of documents that can be used as identity proof to enter airports.
As per the information circular, Mobile Aadhaar or m-Aadhaar can now be used as an identity proof to enter airports in the country.
The circular has names of ten identity proofs, including passport, driving licence or a nationalized bank passbook, PAN card and driving licence that can be provided to gain entry.
The circular also clarifies that minors (those below 18 years of age) travelling with their parents do not need to produce IDs.
