People with dwarfism demand identity cards to avail disability benefits

A group of dwarfed people went to the Collectorate recently and presented their demands.
They need the national identity cards to avail benefits given by the government to other disabled people.
They have complained that the authorities have refused to give them the cards stating that their hands and legs were intact and there was no visible deformity.
The group has also raised the need for creating awareness among the public about the disability due to dwarfism.
They are teased, insulted and humiliated in public due to their short heights.
