This Mumbai man helps the needy get a second chance in life
40 years old Shankar Mugalkhod, an ambulance driver from Mumbai has been helping homeless and people who are left by their families for the last 18 years.
Mugalkhod has been doing the social work without getting much attention.
He gets the patients to the hospitals who live on the streets in difficult situations.
He not only helps them in medical emergency but also does final rites of those who die due to their illnesses.
What motivated Mugalkhod to help the poor and the needy is a life of poverty which he had experienced during his early years.
