Saina beats Sindhu to become 2017 India badminton champion

Badminton player Saina Nehwal has become the national champion for the third time.

Saina currently holds the 11 position in international ranking. She defeated world number two PV Sindhu in the women's singles final of Senior National Badminton Championships.

The amazing match was held yesterday in Nagpur between the top badminton stars of the country. Saina won with the score of 21-17, 27-25 in the tough match.

Earlier, Saina had won the nationals in 2006 and 2007.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis gave away the rewards to the match winners of the finals in different categories.
