Rajasthan women advised to do housework to stay fit
Rajasthan’s education department has told women to do household work to stay fit.
The education department releases a monthly magazine called 'Shivira' for school teachers.
In its latest issue, the magazine has an article on how to stay fit.
Surprisingly, the article has suggested women to do various physical activities such as sweeping and mopping floor, churning butter from milk, and grinding flour in a ‘chakki’ so that they can live a healthy life.
The gender-biased article has also asked women to not just stop drinking alcohol but also soft drinks.
The article has been criticized by many for suggesting only women to do household work.
