Learning maths at home can improve children's vocabulary
A new study has suggested parents to engage kids in mathematical activities at home.
It will help to improve not only math skills of the preschool children but also make their language skills strong.
Researchers found that teaching basic numbers and math concepts at home to young children and asking them questions helps kids to improve their oral language skills.
For the research, the team studied 116 preschool children of ages 3 to 5 years.
Talking about counting, connecting numbers to quantities and comparing values in daily conversations can help children understand the use of maths.
