Disabled kids from Kerala go on a Punjab tour

The 10-day programme including the journey is organised by Sarva Siksha Abhiyan.
The disabled schoolchildren are selected based on their creative skills such as dancing and singing.
Disabled students from poor families who have not visited places outside the state were given preference.
The disabled schoolchildren along with the staff will reach Chandigarh on 15 November and take part in the cultural programme on 17 November.
Students will also be taken to Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah border and the Golden Temple as part of the tour.
