Bengaluru to organise tennis tournament for the disabled
40 years old Sunil Jain from Bengaluru, a chartered accountant was only 18 months old when he was affected with polio.
Now he is trying to empower disabled people through a tennis tournament, the Tabebuia Open.
The idea is to involve disabled people in a physical activity and help them overcome their limitations.
The second part of the tournament will be held from 14 to 17 December in Bengaluru.
Sunil plans to have as many as 45 to 50 disabled players from different cities to take part in the tournament.
The Tabebuia Open is one of the three projects of the Astha Foundation, an organisation started by Sunil.
