Mental exercises can help keep dementia away
A new study has found that older adults who keep their mind busy with mental exercises or games have a reduced risk of developing dementia.
The study was done in the USA on more than 2,800 people using a specific brain-training exercise called “Double Decision”.
The results showed that keeping the brain active is a healthy habit.
Doing things differently or picking up a new hobby, learning a new language or even playing video games can help keep the brain healthy and working.
The activities change the brain and do not let it become weaker in the long run.
