Blind man forced to sit on train floor in UK
A blind man who was traveling in the Virgin train in United Kingdom has complained of mistreatment by the train’s conductor.
Roger Debman is a 56-year-old blind man and was forced to sit on the floor of the train as the seats for the disabled were taken by able-bodied people.
Roger then complained about this to the conductor but got no help.
Instead the conductor told Roger to sit on the floor where he remained seated for nearly three hours of the journey.
This insensitive behavior is extremely shocking and discriminatory as the seats had been booked in advance.
