Rajasthan is not concerned about the safety of its women
A recent research says that women between the ages of 18 and 44 years are not safe in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan has reported the highest number of rape cases in 2015. It ranks third in the total number of rape cases in the country.
As per the study, girls are not even safe within their homes. Killing newborn daughters or leaving them just after birth is found in many areas of the state.
Those who are lucky to live with their parents go through discrimination in access to food, education and health facilities.
Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh government has started reviewing its schemes related to women's safety to remove its tag of the country's rape capital.
