New video game may help treat stroke patients
A recent study has found a new video game that will help people recovering from stroke.
Stroke is a damage to the brain which occurs when blood flow to an area of brain is cut off.
The video game named Balloon Buddies is made to allow stroke patients to involve and play together with healthy volunteers.
Research found that the performance of the patient during the game was improved when they played with a healthy participant.
This is compared to patients playing the game on their own.
The research has been published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation.
