Indian-Americans organise lunch for disabled people

Indian-Americans in the US state of Texas celebrated Thanksgiving Day with a special lunch with over 50 disabled people.

The initiative was organised by the Consulate General of India, Indian-American Youth of Greater Houston, 'Do Your Bit' Foundation and Volunteers of America.

All people present in the Thanksgiving Lunch enjoyed the traditional Turkey, Pumpkin Pie and Chole Bhature.

Many disabled people became emotional and thanked members of the Indian-American community for such a kind act.

The idea was to set an example for younger people on how to come up with new ideas in giving back to the community.
