India's mission to the Sun likely by 2020

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced its vision about going to the Sun.

ISRO Satellite Centre Director Mylswamy Annadurai has revealed that the ISRO is currently working on plans to launch 'Aditya-L1', the first Indian mission to study the Sun, by the year 2020.

'Aditya-L1' will be released in the orbit which is 1.5 million km away from the Earth.

ISRO is also working on satellites that will be launched in the near future.

Four important satellites are to be launched in four months and 70 satellites are expected to be launched in the next three years.
