Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed walks free

Hafiz Saeed, a Pakistani Islamist who is the co-founder of terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba has been released from house arrest as a free man.

Some time after his release, Saeed said that he will bring people across Pakistan together for the "cause of Kashmir" and help the Kashmiris get "freedom".

Saeed, the leader of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and the person behind the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai said that the US pressured Pakistan government to keep him under house arrest on India's request.

He told this to his supporters who came together outside his home to celebrate his release.

It is reported that Saeed's release would invite strong criticism from India and the US.
