Disabled people share their issues at mobile court in Goa

Around 100 complaints against inaccessible government offices and washrooms, less parking facilities, no driving licenses, disability certificates, job requests, domestic problems were registered by people with disabilities at the daylong mobile court in south Goa.

This is even after Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Accessible India campaign on 3 December last year, which is World Disability Day.

The event was organised by the central government's chief commissioner for persons with disabilities along with the state commissioner for persons with disabilities in Goa.

After hearing the complaints and issues of the disabled people, many suggestions and instructions for a disabled-friendly approach has been made and given to the state government.
