40 people watch as college student is stabbed to death on Delhi bus
A 17-year-old college student was stabbed to death on a bus in Delhi after a fight with five boys. His parents said that he could have been saved even if one of the passengers had stepped in.
Mohammed Anas, a graduate student in Faridabad died on a bus in south Delhi after his throat was slit open. The attackers are believed to be a group of five school students in uniform. Anas confronted them as he suspected them of stealing his mobile phone.
The bus conductor said there were at least 40 passengers on the bus at the time of the murder but no one stepped in.
The passengers made no effort to provide him with medical help or take him to hospital. The bus conductor said that everything happened so quickly that he was unable to react.
