Dera chief Ram Rahim, Honeypreet planned to flee India & live abroad
Gurmeet Ram Rahim and his adopted daughter Honeypreet had plans to leave the country and settle down in a foreign country after his escape from police custody.
This has been revealed by Honeypreet and others in their confessional statements given to Haryana Police.
As per reports, Honeypreet and Ram Rahim had also planned to carry out anti- India activities once they had settled abroad. They wanted to take revenge for the arrest of Ram Rahim by causing harm to the country.
The Haryana Police has been interrogating Honeypreet and some other members of the Dera Sacha Sauda in the investigation of Panchkula violence.
At least 30 people were killed in violence in Panchkula after so-called godman Ram Rahim was found guilty of raping female followers on 25 August, 2017.
