Mental illness can be passed on to children, says research
Researchers have found that Mental illness can be passed on to a child if the parents have a problem.
For the study, researchers, studied the adults whose parents had experienced stress and trauma as children during World War II.
It was found that traumatic experience during pregnancy can have negative effects on offspring.
Bad experiences in childhood affect the behavior of people when they grow up and they suffer from psychological issues.
This results in putting their children at higher risk of facing mental illnesses.
The research was done by the scientists of University in Sweden and University in Finland.
