Exhibition in Chennai displayed art made by people with disabilities

An exhibition by people with disabilities, was inaugurated on Friday in Chennai by Carnatic vocalist ‘Bombay’ Jayashri.

The art exhibition and sale was organised by AIM for Seva Krupa Home and the online art community Chennai Weekend Artist.

The exhibition displayed paintings made by people with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, mental illness and brain injury.

The paintings have been created by the residents of the Seva Krupa Home.

The aim of the exhibition was to encourage inclusion for disabled people in the field of art.

The exhibition was till Sunday and many people came to see the unique art made by the people with disabilities.
