Disabled billiards player ranked 16 in the world

Venkateswaran Subramanian lost the function of his left leg due to polio at the age of six years.

Later he also lost the vision in his left eye He did not let that come in the way of his aspirations. He worked hard and started playing table tennis.

However, due to lack of opportunities he changed the sport and took up billiards.

Venkateswaran Subramanian has been ranked at the number 16 position across the world by World Billiards.

He also won the Open Disability Snooker Championship 2016.

He is 47 years old now and lives in Mumbai, he follows a strict routine to remain physically and mentally fit.
