Modi government to take help of historians to review film Padmavati
As there is no clarity on the final release date of the controversial movie Padmavati, the Narendra Modi government has decided to get the help of famous historians to check the facts shown in the film.
It is reported that the Union information and broadcasting ministry plans to include well-known historians in the Censor Board panel to review the controversial information in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Padmavati.
This is after many protests from different areas accused the filmmaker to have used a romantic dream scene between the Rajput queen Padmini and Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
The controversy-hit film Padmavati is said to be based on Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s dance song Padmavat.
