Kids using smartphone before bed are more likely to gain weight, says study
A new study says that watching television or using smartphones before going to sleep may result in weight gain in children.
As per the research, using technology before bed is linked with less sleep and increase in body mass indexes.
Technology use can also be related to tiredness in the morning among children, found the researchers.
The research was done on parents of 234 children between the ages of eight and 17 years to understand the technology use among their children.
After analysing the information, it was found that there were many effects related with using different technologies before sleeping or going to bed.
