New stylish walker for seniors using 3D technology
A group of students from a Los Angeles College of Design have created a unique walker for the elderly people using 3D printing and some other modern techniques.
A walker is a walking aid that is used by the old people to walk around.
The walker created by the students is much more comfortable and stylish as compared to the normal walkers currently available.
The students have named the new walking aid as ‘Lio’.
The team of students did a thorough research on the types of walkers available in the market and their shortcomings.
They focused on a design that will be practical to use and more comfortable and the added advantage will be its good looks.
The Lio walker can be folded easily and is compact to carry around.
The students have also ensured that the design can be customized by the users as per their individual needs or tastes.
