Alleged Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav meets wife & mother in Islamabad

Pakistani authorities allowed alleged Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav to meet his wife and the mother at Islamabad on Monday.

Jadhav’s mother Avanti and wife Chetankul met him for 40 minutes at the Foreign Office in Islamabad.

The meeting was held in a room while Deputy Indian High Commissioner and Pakistani officials listened in on the conversation from outside.

Jadhav was behind a glass partition and the meeting was held in a secure room.

Jadhav is a retired Indian naval officer and has been sentenced to death by Pakistani military court.

Pakistan claims that he is a spy and was involved in terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The Indian government has denied the charges of using Jadhav as a spy and also appealed against the death sentence given to him.
