Health camps for elderly to be held in Bathinda in January

Some good news for senior citizens in Bathinda, Punjab.

The Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda has announced that assessment camps will be held for the elderly persons from 2 to 5 January, 2018 where they will be given free dentures, walkers, crutches, hearing aid, spectacles and walking sticks.

The camps will be held by the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre at various places. These are:

*DDRC Centre, 2 January - Opposite gate number 3, Police Lines, near the Civil Hospital, Bathinda.

*Civil Hospital, Nathana, 4 January

*Rampura Phul, 4 January

*Civil Hospital, Talwandi Sabo, 5 January

People over 60 years of age can visit these camps and get assessed for various facilities. They need to bring their Aadhaar cards, BPL cards or income proofs or pension documents while coming to the camps.

Elderly persons who are taking old-age or any other kind of pension can also be a part of these camps.
