India-Pak cricket series not possible: Sushma Swaraj
Union Minister Sushma Swaraj has said that a cricket series between India and Pakistan is not possible till the cross border terrorism continues.
The minister said that Pakistan has been indulging in cross-border violations and harming the peace in the country.
In the recent times, 800 cross-border violations including cross firing, have been made by Pakistan.
The relations between the two countries have become tenser lately.
Terrorist attack on CRPF training centre in Lethpora area of Jammu and Kashmir took lives of four CRPF personnel recently.
These terrorists get training and support from Pakistan and then enter the country to create terror and spread violence.
The ill treatment given to Kulbhushan Jadhav's mother and wife, while they were in Islamabad, has also made it clear that Pak is not trying to improve the relations.
In these circumstances, the Indian government does not want to commit to resume the cricketing ties between the two countries.
