A new study says that people who habitually drink sugary beverages like sodas and fruit juices are more likely to have poorer memory. People who drink diet soda daily were almost three times as likely to develop stroke and dementia when compared to those who did not consume diet soda.

It also shows that people who drank diet soda everyday were almost three times as likely to develop stroke and dementia. This includes a higher risk of ischemic stroke, where blood vessels in the brain become blocked, and Alzheimer's disease, which is the most common form of dementia.
The study warns people against regularly consuming sugary beverages.
