Reserve Bank of India all set to issue new ₹10 notes
The Reserve Bank of India has released the images of the new ₹10 denomination banknotes.
The new notes will soon be issued by the RBI for general use in the country through bank branches.
The new 10 rupee notes will be chocolate brown in color.
The Reserve Bank of India has clarified that the old 10 rupee notes will also remain valid for use.
The new note will have an image of Konark's Sun Temple depicting India's cultural heritage on one side.
The new notes are of the same height as the old notes but are little shorter than the existing 10 rupee notes.
The notes will have the current year of printing and the signature of RBI governor Urjit Patel.
