Blind Cricket World Cup - India beat Sri Lanka, will next take on Pakistan

With an unbeaten 179, Deepak Malik, a B3 category player from India, helped India get their first victory in the Blind Cricket World Cup. They beat Sri Lanka by six wickets.

India take on arch rivals Pakistan on 12 January

Lanka, which batted first, scored 358 runs for eight wickets. Suranga Sampath (B3) scored 68 runs in 60 balls while K.A. Silva (B1) slammed 64 in 46 balls.

India started off well, thanks to Malik's brilliant century. He batted well throughout and helped India reach the target in 32 overs.

Apart from him, Prakash Jayaramiah (B3) scored 76 in 51 balls, while Sunil Ramesh (B3) took three wickets in his six overs.
