India make it to semi finals of Blind World Cup, will clash with Bangladesh

Team India have made their way into the semi finals of the Blind Cricket World Cup and will take on Bangladesh on 17 January at Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.

Man of the Match was Ajay Gariya, B2 category player

India beat Nepal in their last league match by eight wickets this morning. Nepal won the toss and elected to bat but India's strong bowling attack and brilliant fielding prevented Nepal from putting up a challenge.

For India Prakash Jayaramiah took 2 wickets in 6 overs and gave 22 runs while captain Ajay Reddy, Rambir, Prem Kumar and Jafar Iqbal took a wicket each.

India successfully chased the small target of 157 runs by losing just two wickets. The Man of the Match was Ajay Gariya (B2 player) who scored 54 off 29 balls and struck 6 fours. Mehender scored an unbeaten 40 in 30 balls and Rambir hit an unbeaten 38 in 23 balls and helped India win comfortably.
