India make it to the finals of the Blind World Cricket Cup, to clash against arch rivals Pakistan
India beat Bangladesh by seven wickets in the semi finals of the 5th Blind Cricket One Day World Cup. They will now play against Pakistan in the finals.
Man of the Match in India vs Bangladesh semi final is Ganeshbhai Muhudkar
Man of the Match Ganeshbhai Muhudkar scored 112 off 69 balls taking India to a smooth victory against Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 256 in 38.5 overs. But they started off badly losing two wickets with less than 50 runs on the board.
Bangladesh came back into the same thanks to an unbeaten 108 by Abdul Mallik, but India bowled superbly, limiting them to a modest score.
India's chance sof retaining world title rated high
For India, Durga Rao was the star bowler, taking 3 wickets in 3 overs and giving away just 20 runs. Deepak Mallik and Prakash got 2 wickets each. Deepak Mallik also batted well, making 53 off 43 balls until he had to retire out.
India has remained unbeaten throughout this tournament and are considered the favourites to retain their title.
They will now clash with Pakistan, the host on 20 January at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The match starts at 9.30 am and the entry is free.
