Indian cricket team loses first series in 3 years
The Indian cricket team was defeated by South Africa in the Centurion Test on Wednesday.
The team lost by a score 135 runs making the series stand at 2-0 series in favour of South Africa.
The target was 287 runs but the Indian side could not stand against the attack of South African bowlers.
This has been the first series lost by the Indian cricket team in the last three years.
The loss broke the ongoing record streak of nine consecutive series wins set by the Indian team.
Pujara, Pathik Patel were out at 19 runs, Hardik Pandya at 6 and Ravichandran Ashwin at 3.
The last Test will start from 24 January in Johannesburg, South Africa.
