Class 7 girl stabs junior to get classes cancelled at school

Another violent attack on a school boy has been reported from a private school in Lucknow.

As per reports, a class 7 student has been accused of stabbing a class 1 student in the toilet of the Brightland School in Lucknow's Aliganj area.

The attack took place on Tuesday as per the information received.

A girl of class 7 is said to have taken the junior class boy to the toilet, where she tied him with her dupatta and stabbed him with a knife.

The boy was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the King George's Medical University (KGMU) trauma centre.

The girl wanted to get the classes cancelled for the day, and that led her to commit the crime.

The incident is similar to the murder in Gurgaon’s Ryan International School where a class 12 boy had slit the throat of a junior to get the exams postponed in the school.
