Research says, balanced diet can help fight depression in women
Researchers in Iran have found a link between a diverse daily diet and depression in women.
As per the research women who eat a variety of food regularly are mentally healthy as compared to women who eat the same diet every day.
The data was collected from 360 women aged between 20 years to 49 years old. These women were chosen from a groups of women who attended 10 different health centres.
The women were asked questions about their food habits and based on that they were divided into groups: normal mood, mild or moderate depression, or severe depression.
Further analysis of diet and mental health revealed that a balanced diet with all the nutritional components can help fight depression.
