2 intellectually impaired students from Jamshedpur school selected for Special Olympics

Two intellectually impaired students from the School of Hope in Jamshedpur have been selected to take part in the Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 21 March 2019.

The two students are 15-year-old Priyanshu Patro and Shubham Chaurasia. They are known as pedal stars and will take part in the national preparatory camp to be held in Faridabad from 24-29 March.

The camp is being organised by Special Olympics Bharat.

Priyanshu and Shubham won gold medals in the Special Olympics National Cycling Championship held in Ranchi in January. Priyanshu took part in the 10km road race and 5km time trial race and Shubham had participated in the 1km and 2km time trials.
