Depressed heart patient committed suicide in Nashik hospital
A 55 year old man suffering from depression allegedly committed suicide in a Nashik hospital on Wednesday.
As per reports, Kisan Nana Patole, a resident of Devlaligaon near Nashik in Maharashtra, jumped from one of the windows of a hospital where he was undergoing treatment for heart ailments.
Patole was admitted in the ICU last week and was undergoing treatment when his depression caused him to take the extreme step.
Patole was a heart patient for quite some time and was depressed because of that.
Patients suffering from chronic illness are known to get depressed due to the constant pain or discomfort.
At times the medications also make them feel low and they can feel isolated and sad.
