Ayurvedic doctor from Madhya Pradesh to treat former Lankan cricketer Jayasuriya
Dr Prakash Tata, a nature healer from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, will treat former Sri Lanka captain Sanath Jayasuriya, who is suffering from an acute knee ailment.
Dr Tata will leave for Sri Lanka on 11 February after a a request from the legendary cricketer. Reports are that former India cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin introduced Tata to Jayasuriya. Azhar has been receiving consultation from Dr Tata for a few years.
About a month back, there were pictures of Jayasuriya walking on crutches after a surgery in Australia. Jayasuriya had visited Dr Tata before the knee surgery. He has not recovered fully after the knee surgery.
The Ayurvedic doctor has treated many Bollywood stars and top cricketers. He collects herbs from the forests of Patalkot in Chhindwara district, which is his village.
