The Indian blind cricket players may soon receive the official, announcement about being recognized by the BCCI – Board of Control for Cricket in India.

The Cricket Association for Blind in India – CABI has been appealing to the BCCI for the recognition for a long time now.

BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world and its support can provide the much needed financial assistance to the players of the blind cricket team.

Despite the brilliant performance of the blind team, the players are forced to struggle for even the basic amenities and facilities.

Most of them come from poor families and that affects their health, physic and training.

However, all that may change now as it has been reported that BCCI will soon take a decision about recognizing the blind cricket team.

CABI and BCCI officials have held various meetings and discussions over the past few days and good results are expected soon.
