Paralympian on mission to make his village greener
Disabled paralympian T V Subramani is on a mission to make his village green.
The 38 year old athlete recently won a gold medal in discus throw at the Para International Athletics Championship in Sri Lanka.
He has also won 64 medals at the national, state and the district level tournaments.
Now he is concentrating on the improvement of ecology in his village Rajanukunte in Karnataka.
Subramani has physical disabilities but has managed to plant 67 trees on the roadsides. He is trying to make the place greener with clean air and has been working tirelessly on the projects.
His project has received financial support from his friends, Murali and Manjunath.
Subramani has been on the misoon for the last 6-7 years and has been taking care of the trees to ensure that they grow healthy and green. He has planted trees like mango, sampige, neem and other saplings as well.
