Movie on disability is wining hearts & minds in Odisha

An Odia movie based on the theme of disabilities has won hearts and is drawing large number of crowds to the theatres.

The film is titled ‘Sapana tie...a dream' and ever since its release last week, students from different schools and colleges have been coming to watch it in large numbers every day.

Milan Dash is the writer and director of the film, he is also a member of the Bar Council of the Supreme Court of India.

The film has been made to create awareness in the society about the life and challenges faced by people with disabilities.

The movie is 2 hour and 15 minute-long and features the plight of family of an intellectually disabled child named Babloo.

The movie has been released in Cuttack and will be released in different cities including Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Sambalpur, and Rourkela. The makers also have plans to take it to different schools.
