Film star Kamal Hasan quits cinema, will join politics
Superstar Kamal Hasan is getting ready to say goodbye to cinema world and is all set to enter Tamil Nadu politics. The actor confirmed this while speaking at an event at Harvard University in Boston. He was also looking to collect ideas for his upcoming project that is going to adopt eight different villages in his state as model villages.
Kamal Hassan said that he has two more films that are waiting to be completed and after that he shall enter politics. The actor will start his own political party and he said that he prefers the color black as the color of their flag. According to reports, more than 10 lakh followers are already getting ready to be a part of this new political party.
Kamal Hassan had plans to enter politics since the last 10-12 years. Until a few years ago, there were rumors that he will be joining the AIADMK, under the leadership of ex chief-minister J. Jayalaithaa. But it never happened.
Kamal Hassan said that he cannot keep quiet or complain about the current situation in India and regarding Hindu extremism. He said he has to come out and do something about it . That is why, he is starting his own political party.
