Camp to distribute aid to disabled in Itanagar

A special camp will be organised in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, to provide aids and appliances to people with physical and mental disabilities.

The camp has been announced by the Deputy Commissioner who is in charge of the Itanagar capital complex. The camp will be arranged by the support of the local administration.

The camp will also be used as a venue for generating Aadhaar cards and enrolling beneficiaries at the venues.

Four camps are to be held four camps on 19, 20, 24 and 28 February at the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired in Chimpu, IG Park and the Banquet Hall in Itanagar, and the art & culture ground in Naharlagun.

The participants of the camps will be required to carry proper documentation and the administration is making sure that the information is made available to maximum people.
