Youth4Jobs starts program to place disabled people in companies

Youth4Jobs (Y4J), an NGO that helps disabled people find jobs in companies, has come up with a new program. Its called ‘Able+ Corporate Connect’, and it brings together 70 companies from different parts of Andhra Pradesh. Their focus is on employment opportunities for disabled people.

A program was organized by the AP Information Technology Academy (APITA) in collaboration with Axis Bank.

Gopal Garg, the co-founder of Y4J, said more than 750 people have been trained and placed in leading companies in places like Hyderabad, Rajamahendravaram, Vizag, Tirupati and Vijayawada.

This year, Y4J plans to train 140 students who have passed out from colleges in Vijayawada and get them placements as well.

Former candidates of Y4J, who have been placed in companies, came and spoke about the opportunities that Y4J has to offer as well at the event.
