Movie Review of The Shape Of Water

Movie Review by Deaf The Shape Of Water is a fantasy romantic drama film.

The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro and written by del Toro and Vanessa Taylor.

The film stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Octavia Spencer.

Elisa (Sally Hawkins) lives a quiet life. She does not speak and communicates through sign language. She cleans at a scientific facility, where she is expected to do her work and question nothing.

When she sees that an aquatic, humanoid creature is being violently studied in the facility, Eliza resolves to save him, then begins to fall in love with him.

The visually stunning film is a very offbeat romantic tale involving a human and a merman!

The emotions have been captured beautifully plus the acting of the entire cast is Wow.

Colonel Richard Strickland (Shannon) is ruthless as ever and Giles (Jenkins) effective as ever! Sally Hawkins & Doug Jones have done a fabulous job too. The background score supports the movie throughout.

This movie has subtitles too. I had a wonderful time watching this movie and the ending was Great!

I will recommend to go and watch this movie to everyone.

My rating is 5 out of 5
