Study says young men are at higher risk of mental disorders
A recent study has found that young men are more vulnerable to mental disorders, like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Mental disorders were found to be higher among men aged 18 to 24 years than among women in the same age group.
People from the minority communities and financially weaker sections of society are seen to be most at risk.
The study was done in rural and urban areas of six countries - England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Brazil. The period of study was between 2010 and 2015.
It was also found that men in urban areas were more affected by mental issues, as compared to rural areas.
