Admissions open at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing
The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) is inviting applications for their courses for the year 2018-19.
AIISH is one of the foremost speech and hearing colleges in India. Located at Manasagangothri in Mysuru, AIISH was established in the year 1965.
The institute is run by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India. In order to be selected, some courses will have an entrance examination. Others will be based on merit for the qualifying exam.
Here are the courses that are need an entrance exam for qualification:
- Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
- M.Sc in Speech-Language Pathology and M.Sc Audiology
- Master of Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment)
- Ph.D in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Speech and Hearing
The Bachelor of Education in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) is a course that does not require an entrance examination for admission.
Diploma programs are also offered. These are diplomas in Hearing Aid and Ear Mould Technology, Early Childhood Special Education, and Hearing, Language and Speech.
The last date to submit applications is 2 May 2018.
