Huge rally in Rajasthan to be held for disabled soldiers

The Indian Army is marking 2018 as the Year of Disabled Soldier.

A huge rally is to be organized at Udaipur, Rajasthan, for the welfare of disabled soldiers on 24 March 2018.

As part of the rally, employment and economic assistance will be provided to soldiers who were disabled on duty.

Several companies will be a part of this rally. They will offer employment to disabled Army personnel.

The Indian Army is also organizing camps and expeditions to encourage the youth of the country.

The aim of the initiative is to ensure the welfare of retired soldiers, while motivating younger generations to become part of the Indian Army.

On 18 March, the Army also carried out a cycle expedition that was organized to motivate youth in rural areas to join the Army.

The expedition started from Jaisalmer and travelled across Ludrawa, Chattel, Damodara, and other rural areas of the region.
