New York City's most famous landmark to light up blue on World Autism Day
For the ninth year in a row, New York's most well-known building, the Empire State Building, will Light It Up Blue on 2 April 2018 in honor of World Autism Awareness Day.
The 102-story skyscraper is the state's most famous landmark. It was built in March 1930. It held the title of the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years.
The Empire State Building is currently the fifth-tallest skyscraper in the United States, and the 29th tallest in the world.
It has received the recognition of being a national historic landmark in the U.S.
